Fashion Week 2025

Skills Used: Fabric/Textile Sourcing, Flat Patternmaking, Draping, Machine and Hand Sewing, Metal Work and Manipulation.

This was my senior project, a contest I had to enter to earn my place in New York Fashion Week as one of the designers. All garments and patterns were done completely by me. In this collection I really wanted to push myself to try new things. I wanted to play with the idea of femininity and different ways I could represent that while keeping it bold and eye-catching.

I incorporated metal to add both stiffness and movement. In this collection I wanted to mix flowy fabrics with structure. It is one of my favorite combinations. I love to take completely opposite ideas and find a way to make them work.I love the challenge. I intend to get better at it as well.
