Dark Aphrodite

This was my first freshman course on fashion illustration. The final project was a three-piece collection of any theme of our choice. I chose the goddess Aphrodite in greek mythology who is known for love, beauty and passion.  She is always represented by pink and white. I wanted to do the opposite of the usual things that represented her so I went  with a darker color palette and still kept the same symbolism of the greek goddess.
